I wonder if you could help me. I am after the “big bass” version. Looking on discogs there are copies in the German 1977 section with the matrices: Side A: SHZE-186-A 04097-A1
    Side B: SHZE-186-B 04097-B1
However the label has green writing that is in lower case writing and not capitals.
Will these still be the “big bass” versions.

    It’s so confusing.

    KInd regards
    Robert

      Hello Robert,
Thing is, the “big bass” version exists both with “scritped” Apple label (releases prior to 1981) and with “block typeface” Apple label (1981-1985). Which makes it difficult not to confuse it either for the late 70s reissue of the 2nd cut (A-2/B-2), or a mid-80s 4th cut (analog unmarked DMM).
The solution is always to verify the matrix, especially when buying online.
