The first cut came out in 1964 both on HörZu (as “Die Beatles – Die zentrale Tanzschaffe”) and Odeon label (as “Please Please Me” in the original cover, for selling on foreign army bases).

[Grail]
Discogs lists it as early as 1966, but it was presumably later, probably around 1967-68. This is the so-called “grail” version which has an exceptional sound quality. It came out both on HörZu label (as “Die Beatles – Die zentrale Tanzschaffe” in the late 60s & early 70s) and then, on the Apple label (with original cover).

3rd Cut: from 1984
EMI Electrola started manufacturing unmarked DMM releases from analog sources for pop repertory in 1984. By and by, all the Beatles album have been reissued from analog tapes using new DMM cuts.
