Welcome to Beatles-Shootouts. This site is dedicated to acoustic comparisons (“shootouts”) of the Beatles albums on vinyl. There are two major sections of this site:
- Beatles German Matrix Database & Cuts List: This part is rather academic, compiling my research in the area of the different German cuts of Beatles LPs. This section is more of interest to experts or collectors.
- Beatles Shootouts: Here, different pressings of Beatles albums (German, UK and others) are compared to each other acoustically in order to find out which sounds best. This section is, of course, very subjective.
